My World

Welcome to my world as I see it through my eyes and camera lenses. In the beginning of my photographic journey I taught myself through books, magazines and the internet. Now, as part of my personal development I attend workshops on the mainland to enhance and improve my  unique style. I would like to think each image I capture tells a story of the Islands and places I visit.

Nothing is more pleasurable than immersing myself completely in my surroundings capturing Mother Nature’s changing moods; from her azure waters, blue skies and white beaches to massive storm fronts and huge seas. My online galleries showcase the beauty that I see on a daily basis around the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Cocos (Keeling) Islands is not the only place I love to photograph. Wherever I go around Australia and the world I enjoy capturing the scenery and the people as they go about the daily activities.  My galleries showcase places like Papua New Guinea, Europe, Arizona and Cambodia; places I’ve visited where I’ve  had the privilege of meeting some of the  most amazing people.

Through my photography I am able to assist sponsoring a family in a small village in Cambodia as well as contributing images to the Community Support Association for their website, promotion and postcards.  This in itself is one of the most rewarding experiences I have encountered, knowing that my photography is helping someone to have a better life.

Of course my first loves are landscape and underwater, however I also enjoy street photography; capturing people naturally as they go about their daily business and intimate island weddings.  There is nothing more pleasurable than a beautiful Cocos wedding with its stunning backdrops of white sand and turquoise blue water.

My photographic artworks have been purchased throughout Australia and the world by private and commercial entities.  Several of my images have been chosen as stamp features for Australia Post and UK Royal Mail. To have one’s images immortalised as stamps, becoming part of Australian and British history, is truly an honour.
